REUNIONS
to the reunion; Dave Bennett, Julia
Spotswood, John Head, Tom Lonsdale
from Australia and Rog Owen from
France. Some did make the trip from
far afield; two from Australia, Sheena
Adamson and Martyn Jeggo, and one
from America, Steve Newsholme.
I provided copies of all my archive
material, together with the film, to
everyone who was there, and later to
some of those who were not. IÂ requested
a donation to Guide Dogs for the Blind
Association (a charity traditionally
supported by the RVC) and raised £220.
We had no after dinner speakers, just
the film show, but that gave a good
opportunity for us to spend more time
together talking and catching up - a lot
has happened in 50 years. Our previous
reunion was in 1997. It is amazing
how much we have changed physically
since then. The event was a great
success, thanks to Pete Wood and John
MackinnonÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥™s organisation.

their own reunions this year, including
the Class of 1972, who recently met
up. We will be assisting with reunions
and tours of campus that alumni are
looking to arrange for next year.
