STUDENT NEWS
Sam Fenton, SU President 2021-22
IÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥™m excited to see what the next twelve
months have in store for us, and IÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥™m
optimistic that weÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥™ll have a safe return to
normal university life before too long.
One of our main priorities for this first
term is to provide our student-led sports
clubs and societies with the support
and resources they need to get back up
and running at full speed. The student
organisations are the backbone of the
RVC community, and they deserve
recognition for their efforts to keep
morale high throughout the challenges
of the pandemic. The SU is eternally
grateful for all the opportunities and
support they provide for our students.
Delivery of teaching throughout the
pandemic has been a hot topic of
contention between the student body
and the RVC, and the SU continues its
commitment to represent the student
voice and advocate for the high
standards of teaching weÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥™re used to
receiving. I look forward to continuing
QuentinÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥™s work to ensure that students
are satisfied and learning objectives
are met, and actively listening to the
feedback we get from our students is
now more important than ever.
This year we will continue working
towards the goals of our five-
year Strategic Plan, as well as our
environmental commitment to become
