Current Position: Research Fellow, Roslin Institute

I started my career in biomedical research immediately after PhD graduation (“Studies on in vitro maturation of dog oocytes to improve maturation rate and development potentials” 2013) at the ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥ as a postdoctoral research associate working on molecular signalling of apoptosis (2013-2015). Focusing on my field of interest genomics and biological big data analysis, I joined an international effort in safeguarding ethical sustainability of the dairy farming of Holstein Frisian cows within Genotype plus Environment consortium (.

During this period at the RVC, I gained substantial experience via both college’s development programme (pure scientific training biostatistics, informatics etc and teaching qualifications HEA) and invaluable mentorship of academic staff whom I worked with. As a young researcher at the beginning of my career, becoming part of the RVC’s Researcher Association, in a vibrant and productive environment helped building my network of peers and paved the way for my next career move.

I am currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Roslin Institute, Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, in a senior bioinformatician role shared between  and the
