Highlights of the 1st International Evidence Based Veterinary Medicine Conference
Evidence based veterinary medicine (EBVM) in the UK took a giant step forward with the on October 23-24, 2014. The meeting was organised by RCVS Knowledge and was a huge success, with 250 delegates being treated to a diverse programme of plenary presentations and optional parallel sessions. Over 30 poster presentations reported on a wide range of EBVM projects across the UK while the social events provided a wonderful opportunity for networking to build on existing friendships as well as creating new ones. With clinical data from 300 practices, 1.5 million companion animals and 10.5 million episodes of clinical care leading to 11 peer-reviewed publications, VetCompass was represented at the EBVM conference with an oral presentation and four .
