1.3 Advice about disability support
Advice about dedicated procedures and support for students can be provided by the Disability Adviser. You may have received support previously, in which case itÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥™s important that things are in place for you at the College, or you may like to know more about what is available. Please note that support is not automatically put in place if you declare a disability or learning difference on entry. To access support you need to engage with the Advice Centre (www.rvc. ac.uk/study/support-for-students) and provide
appropriate evidence of your disability or learning difference.
Support can include:
ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥¢ Applying for extra time or other special examination arrangements
ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥¢ Learning Difference support; screening, obtaining a new diagnostic assessment and advice on funding available
ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥¢ Referrals for specialist study skills tuition or mentoring
ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥¢ Referrals for extended library loans and research support

the application process
ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥¢ Advice about assistive software or equipment that may be useful on your course
