WHO IS THIS GUIDE AIMED AT?
This booklet aims to be a practical guide to studying at the ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥ with a disability, the support available and key information about relevant processes and procedures. We hope you will find it useful. The Guide has been written with students views in mind, after feedback from current RVC students with disabilities. It is not
an exhaustive guide and you may have more questions about studying at RVC with a disability. The Disability Adviser can provide more information.
You may not consider yourself to be ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥˜disabledÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥™, however this is a broad term used to cover a range of conditions for example:
Unseen disabilities such as epilepsy, asthma, cystic fibrosis or crohns disease
Long-term health conditions such as HIV or chronic fatigue syndrome
Specific learning differences such as dyslexia or dyspraxia
Mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia or bipolar disorder
Physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy or repetitive strain injury
Sensory disabilities such as hearing loss or visual impairment
You may have questions to ask before applying, or during your time at the College. The Disability Adviser can provide you with
