Keeping up with the ACT
W hen will we see you again? What a question? Like every charity across the world, our events have been put on hold for the foreseeable future, and key
moments in our calendar, such as Donor Day, have been postponed and will now be held online.
Our incredible London Marathon runners, after months of training and fundraising, are continuing to deal with postponements, delays and deferrals, and are now even taking on their own 新月直播榲irtual marathon - all for the ACT! We are still looking at the return of our popular Mucky Pup Fun Run in 2021, but the truth is we just don新月直播檛 know when we are likely to see you.
Thank goodness for technology and its ability to bring us together through our social media, our online pet show and art competitions, and we hope to take you behind the scenes at our hospitals very soon. So please, keep a close eye on our website,
our social media and your email inboxes to keep up to date on our activities and how your support is seeing us through.
Thank you for all that you have done, and are doing, to ensure that our vital work can continue during this difficult time.
Inspiring artwork to be on display in RVC hospitals
O ur inaugural Animal Inspiration art competition drew entries from school children from around Hertfordshire and London, with ten winning pieces to be
exhibited at the RVC hospitals hoping to comfort people who are worried about their pets, and also inspire the vets, nurses, carers and other staff who work in the hospitals.
Nyasha, in Year 6, was awarded first place for her jaguar artwork. 新月直播淚 drew and coloured a jaguar and then used oil pastels and blending techniques to create colourful leaves and cut and stuck them around the jaguar to create an effect.新月直播
新月直播淚 am really pleased to have my artwork displayed at the RVC hospitals; it means a lot to me.新月直播
We are very grateful to The Arts Society Beds & Herts and Berkhamsted Arts & Crafts for sponsoring the competition.
You can view the wonderful winning entries on the RVC hospital walls (soon!) and online at www.rvc.ac.uk/act/events/animal-inspiration
