Veterinary Surgeon (Medicine) at BSAH.  Responsible for oversight of medical standards within the first opinion hospital.

BBeth Walding-Field BSc (Hons) BVSc Cert SAM MRCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine

Beth qualified from Bristol Vet School in 2004 having completed an intercalated degree in Veterinary Pathology at the RVC half way through her veterinary degree. She worked in general practice for three years before returning to the RVC to complete a rotating internship. On completing the internship, she returned to first opinion work in a busy London veterinary hospital and its branch practices. During this time, she completed an RCVS certificate in small animal medicine. Beth joined the BSAH team in 2013, describing the post as “my dream job”, combining medicine and student teaching. She gained RCVS Advanced Practitioner status in small animal medicine in 2015 and has the oversight for medical standards within the hospital. She enjoys all aspects of internal medicine and is most interested in endocrinology (study of hormonal conditions).  Although she tries not to take her work home, she has a consistent population of cats and rabbits at home suggesting otherwise...
